managedSourcesBehavior: 'merge' を使う場合、sandbox.credentials.awsPairs や sandbox.ripgrep が上位の管理ソースの値で一括して決まるようになり、複数ソースの値が混ざって意図しない設定になるのを防げる。
sandbox.bwrapPath、sandbox.socatPath、sandbox.ripgrep)には承認を要求するようになったsandbox.bwrapPath, sandbox.socatPath, sandbox.ripgrep)変更後
組織から配信される設定の承認ダイアログで、どのエンドポイント URL に接続しようとしているのかを確認できるようになり、テレメトリ関連の変更については意図が明確な表現で判断できる。日常的な OpenTelemetry 設定変更では不要な承認を求められず、サンドボックスの実行バイナリ設定がサーバー側から差し替えられた場合には必ず承認を経るため、セキュリティ上の重要な変更を見逃さずに済む。
sandbox.ripgrep をユーザー設定・管理設定・--settings の設定からのみ有効になるように変更した。プロジェクト設定はサンドボックスの ripgrep バイナリを上書きできなくなったsandbox.ripgrep to be honored only from user, managed, and --settings settings; project settings can no longer override the sandbox's ripgrep binary変更後
プロジェクトの設定ではサンドボックスが使用する ripgrep バイナリを上書きできなくなり、ユーザー・管理設定や --settings での指定だけが有効になる。これにより、悪意あるリポジトリ側の設定で任意の実行ファイルをサンドボックスの ripgrep として差し込まれるリスクがなくなった。
